Soil Balance and Feeding Programs
Tree Company Serving Park City – Specializing in Soil Balance
Vital Nutrients for Tree Health
Feeding and Soil amendments are very customized processes. They depend on the specific needs of your tree and soil environments. We like to see what kind of problems we are having first, then create a solution to correct the problem.
1 - Deep Root Feeding
This is where a Happy Tree starts!
This is a process where we inject needed nutrients into the tree, making sure the soil has what it needs to give you a healthy and vigorous tree.
2 - Soil Amendments
Soil Structures can be “helped”
To amend a soil we inject basic elements into the soil to change its structure or it’s PH. A great long term approach. We also add Organic matter into all of our soil amendments.
3 - Mychorrizae
A Fungi that does most of the nutrient gathering for the tree
Mychorrizae is a required Fungi for 99% of the worlds plants to survive. A fungi that gathers nutrients for the tree in exchange for carbon. This is a product we add to most of our Feeding programs to make the soil more efficient.
4 - Rhizobacteria
The top 16″ of the soil should be teeming with life
Microbial activity is needed to bring life and balance to the soil, as well as prepare nutrients for uptake into the tree. This is also a product we add to most of our feeding programs.
5 - Chlorosis
A deficiency that leaves a tree yellow
Some trees always seem to have a yellow color to them. This is more often than not, a deficiency of Iron or Manganese. We have had pretty good success with this treatment provided we do it in very early Spring.
